LineLayer is a privacy-focused call screening app that helps users manage unwanted incoming calls using rules that run locally on the device.

1. Information LineLayer uses

LineLayer may access or process the following information on your device:

• Contacts, if you grant the contacts permission
• Incoming phone numbers processed by Android’s call screening system
• App rules created by you, such as blacklist, whitelist, country rules, prefix rules, and call filtering settings
• Local call screening history generated by the app

2. Contacts permission

LineLayer requests access to your contacts only to provide app functionality, including:

• Allowing calls from contacts
• Blocking calls from numbers that are not in your contacts
• Showing contact names in the app when available
• Letting you choose contacts for whitelist or blacklist rules

Your contacts are processed locally on your device. LineLayer does not upload your contacts to a server.

3. Call screening

LineLayer uses Android’s call screening role to evaluate incoming calls and apply your selected rules.

Incoming phone numbers may be checked locally against your rules, contacts, blacklist, whitelist, country settings, prefix rules, and other filtering preferences.

LineLayer does not sell your call data.

4. Local storage

LineLayer stores app data locally on your device, including:

• Your filtering rules
• Blacklist and whitelist entries
• App settings
• Local call screening history

This data is stored on your device so the app can function properly.

5. Data sharing

LineLayer does not sell your personal data.

LineLayer does not upload your contacts, call history, blacklist, whitelist, or filtering rules to EnkiDev Studio servers.

LineLayer does not share your contacts or call history with advertisers.

6. Advertising

LineLayer does not show ads.

7. Automatic backup

LineLayer disables automatic Android backup for app data. This helps prevent sensitive app data such as call history, blacklist, whitelist, and settings from being automatically backed up by the system.

8. Children’s privacy

LineLayer is not designed for children and is not directed to children under the age of 13.

9. Security

LineLayer is designed to keep call filtering data local to your device. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
